Carnivale isn't a sweet scent. On me, it reads more earthy than fruity. The mango smells like an unripen mango, a little more green than juicy and sweet. I like that less than sweet mango scent paired with the whipped musk and sandalwood notes. I think this combination sets it apart from other summertime fragrances that tend to smell fruity tropical or like sunscreen.
